The Orientation Council brings together ideas from, on the one hand, Ipse members and social-welfare institutions linked to the world of business and employment and, on the other, qualified persons who either hold positions as social partners or have expertise in social economics or the management of social systems in healthcare or income-substitution benefits.
Ipse’s Orientation Council proposes priority topics for inquiry, study, and events to the Board of Directors. These should involve our institute’s partners and networks throughout the European Union.
Our approach at Ipse is prospective. Our method is to conduct research that leads to action. It is our heartfelt goal to address the concerns of social actors while striving for concrete results, favoring the exchange of best practices and encouraging innovative projects.
We want to move beyond organized civil society’s « open method of coordination » to make our Orientation Council a true forum where ideas are listened to and commitments made, where prejudices are overcome, where participants get past their differences in light of their respective responsibilities and positions.
