Coming Soon: the European Charter for Social Protection

For the past few months, members of the IPSE community have been working together to design a European Charter for social protection providers.

This commitment will unite companies and institutions that manage social protection in Europe and see solidarity as both a proven and effective technique and a mode of operation. Furthermore, this principle constitutes the core value of their way of doing business.

On January 18, the text of this charter was approved by IPSE’s Board of Directors, which includes all joint and mutual organizations within the IPSE community.

The IPSE general meeting on April 4 will be a forum for debating the actions required to best ensure that the charter is suited to each member and partner concerned, as well as to promote it among European institutions, social partners, European social protection associations and other social actors.

The Charter, already known to IPSE members, will be presented and published immediately following this general meeting.
