With its unprecedented scale and the issues it raises, the COVID-19 health crisis is upsetting Europe and its citizens.
In this note, the IPSE reviews the various measures taken in the European Union to deal with the health, economic and social situation caused by this crisis. It also discusses the various debates in Europe to consider the exit from the crisis, the tensions between EU Member States on the nature of the economic recovery, but also the question of civil liberties or the necessary and indispensable consideration of the ecological transition.
Finally, it looks back at the initiatives of the actors of solidarity social protection, members and historical partners of the IPSE, so that new solidarity will emerge tomorrow
In the context of its missions and despite this difficult context, the IPSE remains fully engaged.
The Ipse team wishes you a good reading.
