On April 4, 2012, The General Assembly of Ipse, representing all joint and mutual institutions in the Ipse community, adopted a resolution on the European Charter for Social Protection Providers.

By this resolution, the General Assembly of Ipse:

– decides to ratify this common Charter for actors of solidarity-based social protection in the European Union;

– calls upon Ipse to pursue the actions undertaken with its members and partners to:

• Reassert the specificity of their identity and their activities, their values and their way of doing business,
• Raise awareness in national and European institutions about the fact that these organizations represent and guarantee a credible and indispensable alternative to providers driven by a commercial rationale.
